How to do 'Tokyo in 5 Days'

Salam.. Hi all. For my travel column this time, i present u with a complimentary guide on how to cover 8 districts in Tokyo.
(Shibuya, Shinjuku, Bunnkyo, Taito, Chuo, Minato, Chiyoda & a bit of Koto)

Day 1
Arrived - rest - freshen up - lunch at Mark City Mall - Cat Street - rest - Shibuya Crossing

This is where we stayed, Cerulean Tower Tokyu Hotel, merely walking distance to the 'happening' Shibuya

Lunch at Mark City mall (in Shibuya)
**ok, first thing to note regarding the food here, the price is about the same whether you eat in a restaurant, in a mall, in a hotel, or gerai bodoh tepi jalan. A decent meal costs you at least 1000 yen, which is roughly RM40. So might as well go for the nicest restaurant since you'll be charged the same regardless of the place**
Look, people do really que up while waiting for the train :)

Cat Street
"A winding road that traces the old Shibuya River, which stretches from either side of Omote-sando avenue. On the north side of Omote-sando is the heart of Ura-Harajuku, where many young designers have unique boutiques. On the south side is a pedestrian street that takes you to Shibuya in only 15 minutes. "

Unique boutiques in Cat Street

At Shibuya crossing, one must stand in the centre of it & snap snap snap!! hahaha ;p
If possible make it a 360 !
"Famous for its scramble crossing, which stops vehicles in all directions to allow pedestrians to inundate the entire intersection ...being compared to the Times Square intersection in NYC.." -Wikipedia

Day 2
Akihabara - shopping & lunch (halal Indian food) - rest - Odaiba (sushi dinner)

Akihabara Electronic Town. Also knwon as Akiba.
A major shopping area for electronic, computer, anime, and otaku goods, including new and used items.

Must visit! Yodobashi-Akiba, is a Shinjuku based discount electronic store giant.
From computers, smartphones, androids....

...to toys...

....to bicycles, musical instruments, cameras.. CRAAAZY i tell ya!!
We spent almost a full day here!

This is the halal Indian place at level 8. Unfortunately i forgot to jot down the name.
This particular set meal here cost about 1020 yen. The naan & curry here are superb! Highly recommended!

Sushi at one of the malls in Odaiba. If i recall correctly, we (4 adults & 1 child) spent about 4000yen, which is about RM160 for our dinner here.

View of the Rainbow Bridge & a mock Statue of Liberty

..to be continued tomorrow
