So, its harvesting season. Just look at my kangkung & basil :) It was just too much for a household's consumption. I had to give away some to both mothers (brownie points!)
The solution to the kangkung was easy - kangkung goreng belacan. But what about the basil? I sometimes chucked some in my gulai asam pedas. But there were still a lot of them.
Finally after googling "recipes using basil"... the brilliant solution was a yummilicious
Tada..!! Just blend the basil with a handful of pine nuts / walnuts (hubby prefers pine nuts though) with olive oil,season with salt&pepper, aaandd voila! Ready to be eaten with your choice of pasta. Don't forget to sprinkle some cheese on top!
